It is possible to link multiple products to 1 stock. so as an example:
- product 1
- product 2
- product 3
stock: 20
if an order is made for product 1 2 or 3, the total stock will go down.

It certainly is possible, but unfortunately not available in Magento out of the box. You could develop a module where you'd sync the product quantities individually whenever an order is placed using an observer

It is possible to link multiple products to 1 stock. so as an example:
- product 1
- product 2
- product 3
stock: 20
if an order is made for product 1 2 or 3, the total stock will go down.
