I have my birthday party next week – I hope it will be a huge party! :)

I love parties!

I love parties so much, I once went to the party of a criminal

I love parties with music – it felt very nice to be invited to a violinist

But I also enjoy silent nights, like with that actress

(Not the one with her college from the same nation, which was’t mute at all!).

I only have one rule: I never go to any party that isn’t official,

Because I don’t want to be tricked or fooled by a pretender.

I love the different party habits of every country:

I have been to Hawaii, and been welcomed by an Indian chief minister and a Japanese shogun too!

And I don’t prefer any professions either: I have been on a party with a children’s book writer

(It was very strange because previously I was invited to a literary critic too!)

And with a man of math and astronomy

But I enjoyed that guy’s party the most who is a baseball catcher and also a manager!

This is what I would like to say: the truth is that none of these parties went well as everyone turned me down in the end. I would really like to have a party one day, but everyone has something else to do in the end…

I have a name I could call these people, but many of my friends consider it to be very rude. However, I think it’s true.

If you can find out what I call these people, I will invite you to my birthday party next week. I hope it will be a huge party, just like the one I always dreamed about! :)

Hint 0: I feel like I haven’t been clear about these parties enough… so here is a red herring that leads you to the correct answer.

You are welcome, gentlemen! come, musicians, play.

A hall, a hall! give room! and foot it, girls.

[Music plays, and they dance]
More light, you knaves; and turn the tables up,

And quench the fire, the room is grown too hot.
